Turn one product photo into a 3D model
Upload a photo of a chair, sofa, table, lamp or decor piece. In about 3–4 minutes you get a 3D preview you can rotate, place in your room in AR on a phone, and download as a GLB file.

Waiting in the queue
It usually takes 3–4 minutes. You can keep this tab open, or copy the link below and come back later — it works for 7 days.
Your 3D preview is ready
Loading the model…
Drag to rotate, pinch or scroll to zoom. On a phone, “View in your room” opens AR (Android with ARCore, iPhone and iPad with AR Quick Look). The size in AR is approximate: a single photo doesn't tell the real dimensions — in the app you set the item's real height.
Want this for every product?
The ArtUp: 3D Models & AR Room app makes a model from each product photo inside your Shopify admin, adds it to the product's media, and lets shoppers place several products together in their room.

This photo didn't work
The generator couldn't make a model from this photo. Photos with glass, mirrors, very thin legs or several items in the frame fail more often.

Previews and their links are kept for 7 days, then the photo and the model are deleted.
Photo tips that make a better model
- One object. Only the item you want in 3D — no second chair, no plant, no person in the frame.
- Plain background. A white or evenly coloured wall or a studio cut-out works best; a busy room scene confuses the shape.
- The whole item is visible. Nothing cropped at the edges, legs and arms not hidden behind other things.
- A three-quarter view. A slight angle that shows the front and one side gives the generator more shape to work with than a straight front shot.
- Even light. Avoid hard shadows and strong reflections.
Honest limits
One photo shows one side of the item, so the generator has to guess the back. That works well for most chairs, sofas, tables, lamps and cabinets. It works worse for:
- Glass and mirrors — transparent and mirrored surfaces come out opaque or smeared.
- Very thin legs and wire frames — thin parts can come out thicker, bent or merged.
- Detailed fabric — fine weave, bouclé loops and pleats come out as a flat texture, not real geometry.
- Glossy and reflective finishes — reflections of the room get baked into the colour.

What you can do with the model
- Add it to a Shopify product. In your Shopify admin, open the product and drop the GLB file into Media. Shopify shows 3D models on product pages in Online Store 2.0 themes. Step by step: How to add 3D models and AR to Shopify.
- Check it in AR. Open this page's link on your phone and tap “View in your room”.
- Do it for the whole catalog. The app does the same from product photos in bulk, inside your admin, with a preview to accept or regenerate before anything reaches your store.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. One free preview per person per day, while the free previews last. No sign-up and no card.
What happens to my photo?
It is used only to make this preview. The photo and the model are deleted after 7 days. If you leave an email, we send you the link once, when the model is ready, and use the address for nothing else; it is deleted with the job after 7 days.
Can I use the GLB file in my store?
Yes — the model is made from your photo for you. Check that it looks right before you publish it, and use photos you have the right to use.
Why does it take minutes, not seconds?
The generator builds a full textured 3D model. In our tests one model took 135–209 seconds to generate, plus a short step that makes the file small enough for phones.
